For delivery destinations outside the Sunshine Coast local area, we use Australia Post Express services due to the fragility of Gift Hamper products, ensuring less handling and tracking availability. All our Gift Hampers are packaged in strong postage boxes with extra padding for safe delivery.

Local Sunshine Coast Aramex Delivery: Once dispatched from our warehouse, we estimate next business day delivery to most locations on the Sunshine Coast. (The local service area includes the greater Sunshine Coast region, including (but not limited to) Maleny, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Noosa, Nambour, Beerwah, Caloundra, Coolum and Gympie.)

Personal Service Delivery: Available only if a driver is available. Please call prior to ensure we can provide this service. If not confirmed, your item will be sent via another delivery service.

Ordering Times: Based on EST - Eastern Standard Time.

Single Address Per Transaction: Each order is shipped to one address. For multiple gifts to different addresses, please complete a separate transaction for each gift box. (also refer below to incorrect shipping option selected for more information)

Delivery to Workplaces: We cannot deliver to Post Office Boxes but can deliver to the recipient's place of work to avoid the hamper being left unattended.

Gated Communities: If the delivery address is in a gated community, complex, or home, please make necessary arrangements or inform us of how we can safely deliver your gift without risking theft, damage, or delays.

Authority to Leave: By purchasing a gift, you acknowledge our authority to leave the package at the delivery address if deemed safe by the courier. If deemed unsafe, a card will be left, and the parcel taken to the nearest Australia Post shop or Freight Depot, ready for collection. Items returned due to not collecting from the post office or depot will incur a redelivery fee for the cost of the postage to resend the parcel.

Changes to Orders: Once your order has been accepted by Coastal Hampers, we are unable to make changes unless contacted by phone within 2 hours of ordering.

Delivery Schedule: Deliveries are not currently available on Saturdays, Sundays, or Public Holidays.

Parcel Tracking: All parcels traveling by Australia Post or Aramex are bar-coded and traceable to ensure safe delivery. You will be advised of any abnormal delays.

Liability: Once your order has been dispatched to Coastal Hampers’ nominated carrier, it becomes their responsibility. Coastal Hampers is not liable for any delays, lost, or stolen orders in transit. However, we will trace the order and assist in making alternative arrangements for you.

Incorrect Address: Please ensure the delivery address you provide is correct before placing your order. Parcels successfully delivered to an incorrect address are not eligible for refunds. A re-delivery fee will apply if an incorrect address is given.

Unsuccessful Deliveries: If a gift is not able to be found on the premises and Coastal Hampers can provide evidence of delivery from the courier, the purchaser is not entitled to a refund or replacement, as the gift has been delivered.

Delivery to Hospitals: Delivery to hospitals is not recommended as items can be easily lost. We suggest sending to them when they get home or to someone you know who visits them regularly.

Responsibility to Inform: It is your responsibility to inform Coastal Hampers if an order has not arrived. We will then trace and locate the order.

Peak Periods: Longer delivery times are to be expected during peak periods, natural disasters, acts of God, and pandemics. These issues are out of our control, and we are not liable for delays arising from them.

Christmas Deliveries: While we aim to deliver the same quality of service throughout the year, we cannot guarantee all orders placed within a week of December 25th will be received before Christmas due to expected delays with freight movements across Australia during the holiday period.

Refunds and Compensation: We do not offer refunds or compensation on orders that arrive within four business days of the preferred delivery date. All other compensations are processed on a case-by-case basis.

Incorrect Shipping Option selected or Invalid Address provided: If an incorrect shipping option is selected, it may delay the dispatch of your order as we may require payment for extra shipping costs.

Invalid Address provided: If an invalid shipping address is provided, it may delay the dispatch of your order as we may need to contact you for confirmation.

Cancellations If you no longer wish to send your gift, please contact us within 1 hour of placing the order. Orders are processed quickly, and we cannot guarantee cancellation without charges once it is already in production. Any order requesting cancellation before dispatch will incur a $5.00-$10.00 cancellation fee to offset transaction fees associated with the platform.

Legal Requirements
Under the Liquor Act 1992, it is against the law to supply liquor to a person in Queensland under the age of 18 years. It is also an offense for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor from another person. By purchasing a Gift Hamper from Coastal Hampers, you warrant that you are over 18 years of age and the person accepting the Gift Hamper is also over the age of 18.
