Delivery times are based on information available from our couriers, however due to unforeseen circumstances, expected delivery times are not guaranteed by Coastal Hampers.  We will inform you as soon as possible of any unexpected delays as we are advised, in case you need to notify your  recipient.

** Special Requests is available when you need to have a Gift hamper delivered early in the morning, late evening or weekend on a specified date, but needs to be organised prior and confirmed availability to accomodate special request. Please contact us to discuss.

** If your Gift Hamper is to be delivered to an Event Venue or Accommodation, please advise us when ordering so arrangements can be made with Owner / Managers to have gift delivered before the arrival of your recipient.

We can normally accommodate all requests but will need to be notified when ordering either by phone mbl: 0499 944 816 or email  hello@coastalhampers.com.au to confirm.

 

    For  Delivery destinations outside The Sunshine Coast Local Area we use Australia Post Express Services due to fragility of Gift Hamper products, for less handling and tracking availability.

All our Gift Hampers are packaged in strong postage boxes 

with extra padding for safe delivery.

 

  • Ordering times are based on EST- Eastern Standard Time
  • We are not able to deliver to Post Office Boxes, however we can deliver to the recipients place of work which will avoid the hamper being left unattended.
  • Any additional gifts to the same address using Australia Post Express delivery service is charged at the flat rate of $25.00 per parcel.
  • Once your order has been accepted by Coastal Hampers we are unable to make changes to your order, unless by phone contact within 2 hours of ordering.
  • Deliveries are not currently available on Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays, unless by prior arrangement.
  • All parcels travelling by Australia Post are bar-coded and able to be traced, to ensure safe delivery. You will be advised if there are any abnormal delays.
  • Once your order has been distributed to Coastal Hampers’ nominated carrier it becomes their responsibility. Coastal Hampers are not liable and/or
    responsible for any delays and/or lost and/or stolen orders in transit. However, we will trace the order and assist in making alternative arrangements for you.
  • It is your responsibility to inform Coastal Hampers if an order has not arrived. We will then trace and locate the order.
  • When submitting your order, please provide as much information as possible about the recipients delivery address, including mobile number.   If they are not available to accept the gift, we will often notify your or the recipient by SMS that a parcel has been delivered, and left in a safe place.  Especially in the case of bad weather, allowing them to make arrangements for it to be collected.
  • By purchasing a gift, you acknowledge our authority to leave.
  • If a gift is not able to be found on the premises, and Coastal Hampers can provide evidence of delivery from the courier, then unfortunately this will not entitle the purchaser to a refund or replacement, as the gift has been delivered.
  • If a parcel is deemed unsafe to leave by the courier, a card will be left, and the parcel taken to the local Australia Post shop, ready for collection.
  • Items returned due to not collecting from the post office will incur a redelivery fee for the cost of the postage to resend the parcel. 
  • Please ensure the delivery address you provide is correct, before placing your order. Parcels that are successfully delivered, when an incorrect address is provided, are not eligible for refunds.
  • If delivering to a hospital or holiday accommodation, please ensure the recipient will still be there within the delivery time-frame .
  • For International orders, please get in touch as some Gift Hampers and products will not be suitable for International shipping.
  • Under the Liquor Act 1992, it is against the law to supply liquor to a person in Queensland under the age of 18 years. It is also an offence for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase or receive liquor from another person.  By purchasing a Gift Hamper from Coastal Hampers you warrant that  you are over 18 years of age and the person accepting the Gift Hamper is also over the age of 18.
